Fraga da Pena Waterfall
Fraga da Pena, in the middle of the Protected Landscape of the Açor Mountain, corresponds to a geological protuberance crossed by Barroca de Degraínhos, creating a series of successive waterfalls. The waterfall has a height of 19 meters.
Along its banks there are some old specimens of European Oak (Quercus robur) and Sweet Chestnut (Castanea sativa), as well as arbutus trees (Arbutus unedo), flax-leaved daphne (Daphne gnidium), as well as mock privet (Phillyrea latifolia) and a narrow-leaved mock privet (P. angustifolia).
